Maria Estrada has over 30 years dedicated to the Martial Arts. A native of Italy, she’s studied under five Korean masters and is skilled in various other disciplines such as kickboxing. She had been written about in the New York Post and PM Magazine and has appeared on the Joe Franklin Television Show. She was inducted into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame on April 24, 2004 and again on August 4, 2007, as Taekwondo Master of the Year.

Master Maria, a Sri Sathya Sai Baba devotee in involved in various community services on Long Island. She has taught self-defense to various women’s groups and has been a spokesperson at the Town of Babylon Town Hall with the intention of encouraging young girls to be ambitious and pursue their dreams through confidence and self-reliance. Master Maria has also donated her time to raise funds for local PTAs and public schools.

Master Maria is a Florida and NY State champion and is an excellent coach and instructor of both children and adults.


In-person classes are now in session!

The health and safety of our students is our top priority. As of September 1, we have reopened and are now offering small, socially distanced classes with the additional option for students to attend over Zoom. Our upcoming spring Kummooyeh program will most likely be held over Zoom and outdoors (as weather permits.) A copy of our COVID in-school safety protocol is also available under the “About Us” menu.
